I am more than happy to announce that I GRADUTED FROM UNIVERSITY! I DID IT! After three years of tears, late nights, more tears, alcohol, sleeping problems, bad relationships and fleeting friendships but university is finally over and done with officially. Did I enjoy university? I think it's not a hidden secret that I disliked university a lot, I didn't like the course I was on but I loved growing up and finding myself as an adult, so at least to me it was good for something! I got to live in my favourite city, meeting life time friends and I met my partner Joel who I now live with! A lot happened to me because of university and I'm thankful, but educational wise I think it was a very big waste of time. I came out with a 2:1 that I'm really happy with and now I have the memory of a fantastic day to go with it.

My parents came to share the day with me and that made me so happy, I got to graduate in the Minster in York,  with my family and friends there to share my happiness! It was an experience to remember and the official ceremony was amazing with even a celebrity guest there to receive an honour award. I loved it which really surprised me, afterwards we explored the Christmas market and the lights in York got switched on! It was super cute, walking around in my gown nearly froze me to death so when it came to grabbing some food we dived into our favourite restaurant in York, Winner Winner!

I love winner winner because of their food and drinks selection, each time I've been with my family we've tried different cocktails and we've not even got half way through the drink menu! The restaurant is in the middle of the city but it's almost hidden from sight, being situated on the river bank just below one of the bridges so you won't randomly walk past it. I think that's what I love most about Winner Winner, it always has a lovely atmosphere because it's not always ram packed with customers, you can look out across the river and enjoy some beautiful cooked food! To start we all shared nachos which came with home made chilli! My favourite. I've always gone for a burger but this time I thought I would try something different and attempt the half roast chicken, with chicken gravy, sweet potato fries and blue cheese sauce!

(One of Joels sides was potato salad and it looked amazingggg)

I had such a lovely time with my family, graduating and eating amazing food! If you're going to visit York I definitely recommend going to Winner Winner, it's away from the tourist rush of York so you can just enjoy food WHICH is so different to what else is on offer in York.

Until next time guys,
